Take Responsibility and Feel Better About Yourself Through Psychotherapy
I work from a humanistic and existential perspective, based on the belief that each person has both responsibility and choice in relation to their own life. I also believe that we all possess a natural and innate capacity for healing, growth, and self-realisation.
I offer individual psychotherapy through a series of counselling sessions, either short-term or long-term, depending on your needs.
Create your own life. Take responsibility for your life. Learn to appreciate who you are. Focus on the present and look forward.
Therapy is about reconnecting with yourself and with all the emotions you carry within you. It is also about reconnecting with joy, presence, and the feeling of being truly alive.
My therapeutic approach always begins with the present moment – how is your life right now? This does not mean that the past is unimportant or that it should not be explored. However, regardless of what our past has contributed to our lives, it cannot be changed.
What you can do is learn to face your past, accept it, understand its impact, and choose to stop allowing it to continue controlling your life.
By focusing on the body's signals and impulses, we begin a process of self-awareness, emotional processing, release, and conscious choice. This process can lead to meaningful change, enabling you to live more authentically and in greater alignment with who you truly are.
Trauma and Difficult Life Periods
Have you recently, or at some point in your life, experienced a difficult period or a traumatic event?
Does it still affect you to such an extent that it limits your ability to move forward with clarity, peace, and happiness?
If so, psychotherapy may be able to help.
